Unstoppable 2nd Grade Teacher!

Today started out a bit crazy after a pothole "jumped out of no where" and decided to "dip into the bank account"... for a new tire. But the day must go on and as we preach all the time to our fit fam... "lets find a new focus & shift to a positive one!"

Needless to say, my negative day quickly shifted when I got Christi's email update this morning! Christi Tompkins- A Wife, Mother of 3, and a 2nd Grade Teacher. I'm sure you can imagine that daily schedule right?!

Christi came to us looking for a challenge, a healthful lifestyle change, and structure to reach new goals for her and her family. I will not forget the day I was speaking to her on the phone for the first time about wanting to start a nutritional plan. As my phone rang, (I was driving )so I pulled over to listen more carefully and to take notes. When I got off the phone, I looked at my paper and the only thing I had writen down was "If you can look like that Brittany, so can I!" It made me stop dead in my tracks, and honestly almost in tears at the same moment (and still does to this day). This was NOT from an arrogant place in her heart, this was a place filled with an empowering motivation, confidence, and backed by a heart knowing what God is capable of!

As women, some of us tend to beat ourselves up, not allowing us to give ourselves full credit of what we are truly capable of and even men for that matter. In that moment, I said to myself, I will not let her forget what she said to me the day we first started her journey to a more Healthful Christi Tompkins, Beautiful before, Beautiful & 'more healthful" Now.

Christi decided to take this process a step further with competing in figure too!! Her first show will be later in 2015, so keep your eyes open for more progress updates!
